Rank system: if rank is high
1. Enemy will have more hp
2. More mouse enemy in B route will jump up to bite player.
3. Boss Cancel gauge increased.
- Rank increase condition (examing now) -
1. Every 30 second: +1
(In Route select, Mode select, Cut scene, loading, in continue screen won't increase rank.)
- however if having life more than 4: +1 (Total 2 rank increase)
2. Cancel boss attack: +1
- Rank decrease condition -
1. Taking damage: -2
2. Used continue: -3
- Lowest rank: 0
Simon will be killed with 13 shots by shooting only body.
- Start rank: 8
Example: if shoot simon body only (Enemy throwing human in chapter 0) it will be dead by 20 shot.
If killed by 21 shots the rank become 9.
If killed by 23 shots the rank become 10.
- Max rank: 20
Simon will be killed with 33 shots by shooting only body.
What is international version?
The international version is much harder version than japan version.
1. Enemy life is same as Master mode.
2. Enemy placement is same as normal mode.
3. Player can have item more than normal mode but not master mode.
(HOWEVER IF NOT USED CARD IN JAPAN VERSION THERE IS NO SUB ITEM IN NORMAL MODE)
4. Some item in item shop cannot select like life or machine gun +.
(HOWEVER IF NOT USED CARD IN JAPAN VERSION NOT MUCH THAN THIS)
5. In result There is no 2 life bonus even if get S rank.
- Game play -
Player can fire main shot button and change sub weapon with 2 buttons.
1. item shop
In japan version need some coin. However in international version can every weapon up to 2 times.
the item can select in every chapters.
some item given free in some Area
However there is no ammo replenish until used continue.
also in co op mode, every item quantity will be half even free item too.
- Item list -
- Shotgun: wide range shot. Good for taking multiple enemy in close range.. it can fire up to 12 times. (it was given in route A with 23 bullets)
- MGM700: Strong shot. it can fire up to 40 times.
- Machine Gun EX: Same as main shot. but it's strong, it can maintain accuracy more easily.
it can fire up to 150 times.
- Gatling Gun: fast, strong, very good for score attack. however it fire too fast so it's hard to maintain accuracy.
it can fire up to 480 times. (it was given in Route C with 200 bullets)
- Laser: fire one blue laser. strong weapon.
it can fire up to 40 times
- Heat Ray: fire one red laser. it's more strong than laser.
it can fire up to times.
- Hand Grenade: great explosion when surrounded by enemy.
it can throw up to 8 times.
- Grenade Launcher: fast, strong than hand grenade.
it can fire up to 4 times
- Incendiary Gun: fire one fire balls. it explode and erase surround enemy like grenade.
it can fire up to 6 times (it give infinite ammo in route b)
- Energy Cannon: strongest laser. it can also penetrate guard enemy.
when player life is very low it's power become stronger.
it can fire up to 22 times
- Rocket Launcher: making strongest explosive. it's slow but it can hit long range enemy.
it can fire up to 2 times.
- SW Cannon: it kills every enemy (Even big enemy) when enemy in this range. very strong but not good for the boss fight.
it can fire up to 4 times
- Shield: block the every enemy attack until 5 second.
it can used up to 4 times
- Extinguisher: (Route C Only item) it erase fire in route c boss fight.
- Rocket luncher Ex: (Route A only item) can break route a boss armor.
2. Mode and route select
in japan version must play chapter 0. but in international version player can skip chapter 0 and play other stage with start rank 8.
when clear the chapter player can select any stages except chapter 4.
later stage will be harder due to the rank system but if keep used continue and try remain life lower than 3 it's not going to be hard.
There also Area change depend on player ability.
Example 1: if player manage to cut the wire in Route C stage become easier and faster.
if failed it's going to be harder and taking more time.
Example 2: if player total life is odd when taking elevator in route A player choose left elevator.
if player total life is even then player taking right elevator.
3. Emergency event
Sometime when enemy close to the player partner will be caught by enemy or push down both players then the 10 second timer appeared. If failed to shoot all enemy player taking damage
The timer slowly decreased in 2 designated area in chapter 0.
However after that the timer become extremely decrease faster. Time limit said 10 but actually it almost 3 seconds to be failed.
4. Hidden object
Shoot the hidden object making purple light appeared. When purple light appeared it give 1000 point bonus.
