This is a variation on the design in Mike Powell's book, Building Recreational Flight Simulators.
You'll notice that the pot isn't full travel - this is because I made an error when rigging this particular arm up. Normally the end travel is about 10% short on each end - this is due to the 80% effective usable range in the slide pots of this particular type made by Bournes.
