How Call of Duty WWII annihilates budget CPUs | i5 7200U | GEFORCE 940MX | S.O.E.
5Call of Duty WWII is the newest addition to this long-running franchise of FPS games. As such, it was expected to be a demanding game. But the CPU usage in this game is hands down terrible. Its erratic and the game freezes randomly during gameplay.
S.O.E. is one of the most demanding missions of the game, due to the increased pace and large explosions that consistently happen during the mission, which only increases as the mission progresses further.
Graphics: 1280*720, Everything set to Low.
The CPU is constantly pegged at 100% usage, which shows that the game is heavily CPU-bound. Its competitor Battlefield 1 is not as much CPU intensive as this is.
Also, CoD protagonists are lucky SoBs, because surviving such events are highly impossible for normal people XP.
