Hello friends I am DragoNate and welcome to another DragoNate Reading Your Answers video! Yes, this is still a video where I read your answers to my last week's question, don't be fooled by the title! Benni asked me how I got my channel name and I talked for a few minutes on that, so that is why the title is as it is! Last week's question, however, was what new senses would you liked to have added to the original 5? You guys answered and I will be reading your answers in this video!
We all know of the original 5 senses, sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. What new senses can you think of though? Spacial awareness, body awareness? How about being able to feel sound? Or to understand the language of other creatures?
I always thought it would be really cool to be able to hear by feeling, see by hearing and feel by seeing. The awesome thing is that these 3 can actually be interchangeable like that! Humans can use echolocation by making clicking sounds at the back of their mouths. If you know what a particular surface feels like, you can feel it when looking at that surface, or extrapolate when looking at new surfaces, and deaf people already can "hear" simply by feeling vibrations, for example in music. They can feel the vibrations of the music and still get the rhythm and molody from it.
At the end of the video, I explain how I got my channel name, DragoNate. Basically, I wanted something that would integrate with my name and something that wasn't oversaturated. I couldn't have what I originally wanted, which was Natenator, so I decided that, since I like dragons, maybe I could mix my name with that. I drew a dragon for it and everything!
