How do I get your job? || Man of Medan Ep. 01 (Ultrawide LP)
Woo back at it!
After a 2 week "vacation" with my family I am now back safely in my gaming chair and am one again able to bring you the hard-hitting, razor-edged, ultrawide gameplay experience you have all come to expect from my channel!
Today we are dicing into "Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan" which is the latest title from the creators of the very entertaining "Until Dawn".
I will be playing this game without a facecam, because I feel that this game does better without a facecam as it is a very visual, almost cinematic, horror experience..
And who doesn't like a little bit of horror now that the days are getting shorter and the darkness deeper...
The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan is an interactive drama survival horror video game developed by Supermassive Games and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It is the first of eight planned installments in The Dark Pictures Anthology series, and was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 30 August 2019.
In the game four Americans, brothers Alex and Brad, Alex's girlfriend Julia and her brother Conrad, travel to the South Pacific Ocean on a dive boat called The Duke of Milan accompanied by the boat's captain Fliss for an underwater diving expedition, in search of a submerged WWII plane wreck. But as the day progresses and a storm approaches, unexpected events cause the friends to become trapped on board of a large ghost ship, where their worst nightmares become reality. With their safety threatened, their sanity tested, and their survival at stake, the group must make swift life-or-death choices that could either lead them to freedom or cause them to suffer fatal consequences.
Thank you for visiting my little ultrawide corner of the universe! For those of you who don't understand why the aspect ratio looks the way it does, it's because I am using a 21:9 "ultrawide screen". In my case it's the Acer Predator X34p: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-X34-Pbmiphzx-UltraWide-Technology/dp/B079FV8S5M
This means my main screen has a different aspect ratio from the most common 16:9 "widescreens" that laptops and desktops use, and my videos therefore have the movie-type black bars top and bottom if you are viewing it on a 16:9.
