152I'm working on a series of videos on Elden Ring Combat and Multiplayer. These videos will discuss how FROMSOFT has changed their combat throughout the games for better or worse, and provide explanations on what we believe would be most fun, engaging, competitive, and fair for everyone in Elden Ring.
Dark Souls 1 added countless weapons, spells, and features that got implemented in Dark Souls 2 and 3. It's 100% certain that lots of these will be in Elden Ring as well.
Not all of the features, mechanics, and items from DS1 are present in every Souls game nor are they the same in every Souls game they are in, so FROMSOFT obviously has put much care into doing their best with each Souls game they created, using what they learnt of previous games. I'll be talking about many examples of this on stream.
For the video series, I need footage to demonstrate my points, so I thought this would be the best and most enjoyable way. NG level is NG+5.
I've never played Dark Souls 1 Online and I haven't had more than a couple playthroughs of it, but I think I'll have fun.
