I can understand if people aren't in love with Fortnite. And I do state that it is not my favorite game of all time. Its had highs and lows just like every live service game but what really keeps shinning through is how consistent it is with updates, weapon swaps, new events, and things to do for the player so being bored is rarely an option. Other games do this as well but what sets them apart is the consistency.
Fortnite chapter 5 dropped some fresh new movement mechanics, sneaking is slower, running looks better, you can HEAL while walking which is wild to me. Weapons have attachments, there's new weapons overall and a brand new map with fresh POIs to investigate.
But what really makes Fortnite the king of the gaming jungle is the community vibe. It's not just a game; it's a hangout spot. I love laid back nights just vibing and gaming Fortnite with the friends on occasion. It can be high speed or chill. Its versatile and I think that's what I like most of all. Gamers of any level can enjoy it somewhere some how. Even building Legos now.
