Ever since New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Nintendo has included easy modes such as the Super Guide, White Tanooki Suit, and most recently Nabbit & Yoshi in Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Personally, I am NOT crazy about these modes in general. I think if you play a game, you should want to play and gain skill. That's what makes gaming so much fun. These modes that allow for invincibility go against the very concept of gaming. But I'm willing to look at the flipside and understand these modes are optional and are usually not required. HOWEVER. Nintendo has not implemented them well. AT ALL.
