A question that often comes up for many gamers is why do we love gaming? gaming is such a fun time. And yet some people think is a complete waste of time. Well, today, I want to talk to you about why gaming is not a waste of time, and why we need to have even more gamers in the world. And I think it comes really down to can gaming be used in education. And the fact of the matter is, gaming can absolutely give you an education. If gaming can be used with education, it's going to be pretty awesome.

And I think games like Assassin's Creed have done a very good job of bringing up gaming and education. And we have to get to that point where gaming actually does become a part of education. What do I mean by gaming becoming part of education, while using it in the classroom to explore historical settings, would be one aspect of gaming becoming part of education? For instance, what if you could travel to a location that was far off in history, right from the classroom, students would have an interactive experience like no other, it would be one of the most exciting things of a student's day. And that's really what I mean when it comes to educating people and making sure that they understand that gaming can be a fun experience, it can be an experience like no other if you really set your mind to it.

That's what the gaming world is all about. It's about those moments where you have fun, where education is not just a grind anymore, it's about reaching a new generation of students like no other. And if we can reach a new generation of students by providing an interactive experience that reaches them on the level of where they're at because right now there are plenty of kids out there who are playing Minecraft, they're playing, and games like that, that are all about fun. And kids are very smart these days. They know how to do stuff if you teach them the right way. And we need to get away from this idea that textbooks and lectures are the only way to teach a student, we can go down the route of interactivity is the way to teach a student. And that will then result in more progress and better results for students in the long run.

And if we can get to that point, if we can get to the point where students are able to have an interactive experience in the classroom, that's going to make a huge difference, and the daily goals of students and what we are trying to accomplish, as from that standpoint, from an education standpoint, it has been proven over and over again, that interactivity drives better results when it comes to memory. There's no doubt that if you have a more interactive experience, that you're gonna have a better memory of what just happened, experience drives results in education, and video games are along the lines, it's, it's right there, you're able to see stuff, you're able to touch the stuff, there's really no way to go back in time, to a historical setting, and touch a certain moment. However, there is a way, if you really think about it through an interactive experience, that is a video game. And video games are only going to continue to improve to the point where we're wearing sunglasses, and we have augmented reality in our sunglasses where we can see objects and touch them that way. And that's going to drive the educational experience for people from a lot of the technology that was developed for video games.

So when we look at the Oculus Rift, this is one thing that was driven by such technology, creating augmented reality, creating even virtual reality. And being able to explore those worlds like they're there in a 360 degree experience. Eventually, we will get to the point where a 360 degree experience so education is at the forefront of what's going to be changing and the education world and where we're going to be going. And that's really going to change a lot of how we look at gaming from that perspective. And gaming is something that is exciting, is fun. And it's always fun to play a new game.
