How GEOMETRY DASH changed my life | AeonAir
1,193This one was hard to make. Not necessarily because it's a heavily edited, high quality video with insane amounts of effort put into it, but because it was made from the bottom of my heart. It touches on subjects that a lot of people aren't super comfortable with talking about. It touches on subjects very personal to me and very personal to many others. It tries to ask and answer WHY people can't leave GD, or any other big game community. And in the case of GD, the tight knit community, where the interaction and collaboration between others is the sole reason for it's success, it's a topic that should be discussed more. For me, GD is something special. It's far from my top 10 favourite games. It's probably not even top 25, or even top 50. Yet GD is still the most important game I ever played. It changed who I am, and it has helped mold me into the person that I am today. It's been with me for almost 6 years now, and it's been with me growing up. From my early teens, and now as of january 31st 2020, into my 20s. All the people I've met through this game, and the friends and aquaintances I have made are incredibly special to me, and to even imagine a life without these people at this point is impossible. I can't start naming all the people who have both helped me, laughed with me, and been sad with me throughout these years on YouTube and with GD, because I would 100% forget someone. Not because they are less important than someone else, but because there are too many to begin listing them all. Geometry Dash is one of those "once in a lifetime" games for me, where it has completely altered my perspective on life, and very few other games will ever do that. So even though I occasionally leave the game, I always find my way back, and for good reason. How this game has affected me is beyond my own comprehension, so I hope this video does it justice. It's a bit more on the feels side, and less on the funny side, which I apologise for, but I hope you all understand. This is exactly the video I wanted to put out for my birthday, as today I turn 20! So I truly hope you all enjoyed this video, as the video is one that I'm proud of, and will for a long time consider my best work.
One thing I will say tho, is about the future. Once this video is up, I will never stop uploading this kind of quality stuff. I want to give you guys the absolute best content you guys can get, and I want to put my heart into everything I do. I love making videos for you guys, and I love reading your guys's response to a new upload. While not every video gets too many views, the fact that every day I can make thousands of people happy is mindblowing, and I want to keep doing that :) So that's exactly what I will do.
I have multiple big video projects in the works. dozens of people I intend to work with on new content, and many cool ideas that I think you guys will like a lot. I am also working on merch that should hopefully be ready for sale once february nears it's end. Lots of cool stuff on the horizon, and I'm very excited to bring you guys all of this cool stuff ;)
