According to Mobilemarketingreads.com, as of February 2023, GTA V alone had sold over 175 million units worldwide, and that’s not even taking into account previous entities in the series. What’s more, within its first three days of sale, GTA V had made a reported $1 billion in sales.
So with all that in mind, it should come as no surprise that GTA VI would repeat much of the same success as its predecessor. As reported by PSU.com (via TweakTown), industry analyst Joost Van Dreunen believes that GTA VI will shift 25 million units at release which could result in big sales figures for publisher Take-Two Interactive.
