So, what happens when you take 12 people at the pinnacle of their professions, and put them through the gruelling process of astronaut selection? As the candidates push themselves to the limit, they’re assessed by a doctor, a psychologist, and an experienced astronaut. If they don’t make the grade, they’re asked to leave.
