How I Beat a ChessMaster | Facing the Alapin (C3) Sicilian as Black | My Chess Tournaments
The Alapin is a nice way to play against the Sicilian for white and I used some nice ideas to take down a chess master in a 10 minute speed chess game.
Playing D5 as black is the main idea that helped me create a nice hold on the center.
I also make sure to keep the tension in my pawn structure against my opponent so that my queen, stuck in the center, is not under immediate threats.
