My Chess Tournaments | Exploiting Pawn Structures Early against the French Defense
This is round 2 of a tournament I played where my opponent played the french defense. I exploited his pawn structure ideas early in the opening and my opponent had to give up a piece.
My opponent was 1800 in the under 1900 section of a tournament I played over the weekend. I ended up placing fourth and learning a lot as I prepare for next month's big world open tournament in Philadelphia.
