How I feel about AI youTube version
I want to discuss the people who resort to extreme measures in an attempt to discredit Artificial Intelligence (AI). It's unnecessary and counterproductive to associate AI with the many real-world horrors that individuals experience. I question their motives and wonder what they hope to achieve by making such outlandish comparisons. While it's understandable that some people may dislike AI, there's a difference between making a valid point and simply resorting to irrational arguments for the sake of it.
It's particularly disturbing that these individuals target ordinary people who use AI for their personal projects, primarily hobbyists. These hobbyists aren't doing anything harmful or controversial. Instead of focusing on these hobbyists, why not direct attention towards the larger corporations that are actually engaged in potentially problematic practices involving AI? It seems like an easier target to attack the obvious, but it doesn't address the real issues.
This is why I avoid engaging in discussions with extreme anti-AI proponents. They seem willing to say anything, no matter how outlandish or illogical, if it means discrediting AI. It reminds me of the time when K-pop stans discovered that Joji was Filthy Frank. One person tried to argue that Joji and Filthy Frank were not the same person, but the staunch opponent of Joji simply responded with a vulgar insult and then blocked and locked their account, refusing to engage in any further discussion.
That's what that reminds me they don't want to discuss the positives or the negatives they just want to be right
