My girlfriend and I sit down to discuss the process by which she's become acclimated to modern gaming over the course of the 3 years we've lived together. We cover games as she's observed, ignored, and played them. Most importantly, we discuss our playthroughs of Resident Evils 5 and 6 and how they helped her handle the stresses today's games require from players.
Key also, we talk about the recent trend of “90’s Kids” couples experiencing the same sorts of gaming literacy problems upon beginning to live together. We discuss generational and systemic gender issues which may be the cause of these problems.
