The Xbox Series S is almost the perfect console: great price, great performance, but without an on-board video editing suite (or at least the ability to record party chat and upload to YouTube), it's not the complete package.
In order to create videos for YouTube on my Series S, I have three main techniques. Firstly, capturing gameplay on an external SSD, copying that to my laptop, importing it to Premiere Pro, then I combine it with an audio commentary recorded using OBS.
Secondly, I use my LGP Lite and the ReCentral capture software for shorter clips, but on longer clips it loses audio sync, and maxes out at 720p 60fps or 1080p 30fps.
Finally, I stream directly from my Xbox to Twitch, then export the VOD back to YouTube.
Thanks, Rob.
