Hello all,

A quick video on my plans to farm type 5 augs for my toons and the locations to farm them off name if you choose so.



From personal experience and others farm rate I would say the chance of these augs are around 1 in 15 to 1 in 20 from Named.

Brilliant White Pearl (80 Heroic Int) can drop from Octave Sforzando in Cobalt Scar
Carved Panther Fang (80 Heroic Agi) can drop from Ol' Grinnin' Finley in Cobalt Scar
Chunk of Health (80 Heroic Stam) can drop from Blasphemous Steel in Western Waste
Dire Hairball (80 Heroic Str) can drop in Shrapnel in Western Waste
Enchanted Ancient Chain (80 Heroic Wis) can drop from Miscreation the Timeless in Western Waste
Pearlescent Scale (47 Heroic to all) can drop from Desirae Fanfare in Cobalt Scar
Seaglass Curio (80 Heroic Dex) can drop from Morwenna Undertow in Cobalt Scar


For my personal plan I will do group missions for currency. Lets assume you need 15 type 5 augs on each toon. 15 * 500 = 7500. Do Zland twice a day. Lets say thats 15 minutes each run. thats 30 minutes a day giving you 90 currency. 7500 divided into 90 = 84 days to farm everyone augs.


As far as time is concerned. 84 days times 30 minutes thats 2520 minutes (42 hours) total spread out over 3 months assuming you do not do any other missions.


A guild mate has spent way over this amount of time farming Wisdom augs for just 1 character. So at least for me this is the path of least resistance. It is nice that they gave us an option this expansion on how we can obtain our type 5s. Both ways are good, just a matter of what resources you have available.
