This has been pretty highly requested on a lot of my stuff recently, but it's finally here: an in-depth behind-the-scenes look at how I make my GarageBand song remixes! (Bear in mind this isn't very professionally recorded - I had to use an overhead camera to record and also improvise without a script...)

Specifically, the song remix I'm showing you here is currently my most viewed song remix - the "Sonic Mania - Hyper Potions Intro Theme" GarageBand remake. To put simply, this video goes through things like: melody creation, harmonizing, layering, timing and time signatures, drums, samples, and a few extra tips and tricks.

(I've been using GarageBand for a while, but next year I'll most likely be switching over to FL Studio to try and make more complex and varied music.)
