Jason Momoa has become one of the cornerstones of the DC Extended Universe with his portrayal of Aquaman, which has gone over well with fans and critics, but the actor almost played a much different comic book role.

Charlie Wen, who was once Marvel Studios' head of visual development, talked to Looper about how Momoa almost joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe during the first Guardians of the Galaxy film.
