ARMS for the Nintendo Switch was a really fun game. I feel that it is a hidden gem of the console. It's not that it did terrible that nobody knows what it is but I feel like a lot of people didn't try it because they thought that you had to use motion to play it. However with ARMS you did not have to use motion to play it. Nintendo chose to not advertise this game showing that you could use other controller methods to play this game. I used the pro controller for pretty much the entire time I owned the game. I don't understand why they never showed any commercial or ad with someone just sitting on the couch with the pro controller while someone else was standing using the joy cons and playing with motion controls. I know that Smash Bros Ultimate ended up killing this game but I feel like there could have been more people who could have enjoyed this game before that happened if they knew that they didn't need to use motion controls to play it.
