Opened in 2019, IKON is an innovation center from global leader in high-performance insulation and building envelopes, Kingspan.

Built using the highest standards of sustainable design, and aiming to have the world's first level 5 maturity digital twin, the building is a living lab for research. It contains multiple IoT devices, leveraging the power of Autodesk Forge, in combination with BIM data, to showcase accessible views of the building as a variable and intelligent environment. This includes visualizations of the environmental conditions as well as anonymous views of how humans interact and use the space.
