With the 6th Generation of Monster Hunter on the horizon with Monster Hunter Wilds I wanted to take a look back at the third generation which changed Monster Hunter's Future forever.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate introduced the most divisive gimmick of the franchise in the form of underwater action. Let's discuss why this was such a hot button issue, what the developers thought of it and how the sentiments have shifted.
