Thanks to our special guest Quinn who is a current Caddie. He discusses how much caddies make on the DP World Tour and other golf tours like the PGA Tour, Korn Ferry and LPGA Tour. The average weekly salary for a caddie on the DP World Tour is around 1600 euros, while on the Korn Ferry Tour it is around $1000 US dollars. On the PGA Tour, the average is around $2000-$2200 US dollars. For the LPGA Tour, the average salary is also around $2000 US dollars. The speaker also explains how caddies receive a percentage of the player's winnings, typically around 10% for a win, 7% for a top 10 finish, and 5% for finishes outside the top 10. The negotiation for caddy payments is usually done with the player, although sometimes the agent is involved. Quinn also mentions that caddies often have to cover their own expenses for travel, accommodations, and food, although some players may cover these costs. Speculation that Tiger Woods' caddy may make around $1-2 million dollars per year, but emphasizes that this is not public knowledge.
