For example, if you own a town in a #virtualworld or a game world and you're having a problem with one of your residents home then the best way to let him know about it is by simply telling him directly.
Maybe send him a #instantmessage or a whisper in-game letting him know about your problem with his home in your town. If your resident is offline and your game has an in-game mail system then how about writing and sending him an in-game mail.
