Reverse mentoring is a cost effective way for business leaders to gain a better understanding of different perspectives from their employees. Organizations become more inclusive, diverse, and connected - with reductions in attrition, and increased engagement across all participants. During this session, Bunmi Sowande, Google's Head of Customer Engineering - UKI Corporate, will share his own research conducted on the practice for his dissertation. He will discuss his personal experience with reverse mentoring, what he uncovered in his research - and share recommendations for how to implement Reverse Mentoring - including some pitfalls to avoid, as well as how to maximise the benefits.
