The Vahana, a SEA-class work boat, is a Royal Navy vessel many people have probably never heard of - but offers a huge degree of versatility to the service.

There are 35 Vahana ships in operation right across the Royal Navy, ranging in size from an 11-metre version right up to 18 metres.

The boat is a modular design, featuring a standardised hull with the ability to carry different payloads for different jobs.
