Sony has faced many controversies in the year 2023, including deleting purchased digital media (Discovery), shady terms of service regarding the sale of physical games, and most recently a hacking involving Insomniac Games. All of this on top of the release of a mediocre product called the PlayStation Portal. While Sony was once the clear king of gaming and the PlayStation 5 can still be seen as a success, I believe their non-consumer friendly business practice stemming all the way back to the PS3 era will eventually lead to their downfall.
