Like any console debate you can argue that the Steam Deck is better than the Switch, but there's as much ammo on the opposite side of that argument as well. To be clear I'm NOT trying to start a console war here, but it is fun to contrast and compare different gaming experiences on the market, ideally in a civil way and that's what I tried to accomplish here- To genuinely explore the areas where the Steam Deck has the advantage and also where the Switch comes out on top as a portable gaming machine.
