One thing to note that I forgot to mention
This trick works on Very Easy, Easy, and Normal Difficulties
In Easy and Normal you must shoot the M9 to generate a magazine and throw that, in Very Easy just pick up the stun grenades and save yourself 1 minute 30 seconds.
In Hard and Extreme there are no throwable items in the Dock
