How to Access Google Collections on Android
17In this video, I'm going to show you how to access Google collections on your Android phone. So the first thing that you want to do is go to the Google app on your phone and you will notice in the bottom right corner of the screen it will say collections, tap on this.
So in here, you will see a slightly different layout if you have used this before. So at the very top, you get all your saved items. So these are the items that you're saving from the web and what you can do, just underneath, you can see here, all saved items and that will bring you into all of your saved items.
Another thing that you can do from here is if you maybe want to remove something, that's on there. Then just tap on the three dots beside the item that you want to remove and then you'll get two different options and you'll see at the bottom option is remove.
So just tap on this and It will prompt you one more time to remove, just tap on remove again. We'll go back in here by hitting the three dots and then it hit add to a collection. Just if you're wanting to maybe move one of your webbed favourites to a different collection.
So tap on this and then just select the appropriate category that you're wanting to pop that into. If we go back out and scroll down a bit, you'll get your collection. You will get a preview of the first four collections that you have and then just under, this, it will say more collections just tap on that and that will bring you into all of your collections with Google.
And then another thing that you can do from here is create a new collection. So in the bottom right, you should see in blue with a little plus symbol, it says create. So tap on this and then you have a few different options. So you can create a collection from link or saved items or just a blank new collection. So tap on this, type in the name of your new collection and then you can give it a description and then, whenever you're done, just hit the done button in the top right of the corner of the screen. And that's basically all there is to your collections on your Android phone.
