Remove Microphone Icon on GBoard Keyboard
10In this video, I'm going to show you how to remove the voice search, microphone button from your Gboard keyboard on Android. So this is with a new update on Gboard. So, if you haven't already received this update yet, just be patient. It will come to you, however, for anyone that does have the update, let me show you how to do this.
So I'm going to open up an app that is going to allow me to open up my keyboard. So let's just open up the WhatsApp app. Now, tap on the button in the top left of your keyboard which is the four tiny squares. And where you see the voice, the microphone option, hold your finger on it and then drag it down into the bottom of the screen.
Now go back to your Gboard keyboard and you will notice that that has removed the voice microphone option on Gboard. Now if you just want to add it back, you can tap on the same icon again hold your finger on it, drag it up to the top and that will bring it back onto your keyboard.
