How To Add Another Face ID On iPhone ! - Easy Solution | HTG
If you want to add another Face ID on your iPhone, you can do so easily by setting up an Alternate Appearance. This allows you to add a second face, either for yourself in different conditions or for another person.
To get started, open the Settings app on your iPhone. Scroll down and tap on Face ID & Passcode. You’ll need to enter your passcode to proceed. Once inside, look for the Set Up an Alternate Appearance option. If you haven’t already added a second Face ID, this option will be available. Tap on it and follow the on-screen instructions to scan the second face.
If you want to use this feature for yourself, you can set up an alternate look with glasses, a hat, or a mask. However, if you're adding another person's face, they should follow the same scanning process.
Once the setup is complete, Face ID will now recognize both faces for unlocking the iPhone, authorizing App Store purchases, and other Face ID-related features. If the Set Up an Alternate Appearance option is missing, it means two Face IDs have already been added, and you’ll need to reset Face ID to add a new one.
