In this video I should you how to add black bars in Davinci Resolve 18. You can add or animate black bars in Davinci Resolve (17/18) to create a cinematic look to your video.

How to add static and animated black bars:
1. Click on your video and go to "Inspector"
2. Under cropping change the top and bottom cropping
3. To animate blacks, drag the play head to the start of your video and add keyframes for top and bottom cropping
4. Then add 2 more keyframes at the part where you want the animation to stop and change values.
