In this DayZ beginners guide to Community Server Modding for PC, PlayStation & Xbox Consoles, I show you how to edit your code & add in infected zombies that will explode when killed.
These explosive infected zombies will either explode with a frag grenade, gas grenade or flash-bang type effect.
I give you a demo of what it looks like when you kill these zombies, explain how and why it works, how to edit your cfgspawnabletypes.xml & events.xml to activate the effect, and discuss some of the gameplay implications of having this change on your servers.
