Steps:

- To add it to the Mail app, open up the settings app on your iPad.

- In settings, scroll down and select ‘mail’.

- In the Mail settings here there is a setting called ‘accounts’ , tap that.

- Now tap ‘add account’. Select Google from the list of account providers. You can now log into your Gmail account here. Once you have done that you will be able to use that gmail account within the mail app.

- To add a new account to the Gmail app, launch the Gmail app.

- Tap your profile icon from the top left of the screen and it will make the account switcher popup appear. Tap ‘add another account’,

- Select Google and then log into your Gmail account. Once you have done that you will be able to access your emails from the Gmail app.
