To add roles on Discord, you will need to have the "Manage Server" or "Manage Roles" permissions. Here's how to add a new role on Discord:
Open the Discord app and log in to your account.
Go to the server where you want to add the role.
Click on the server name, located at the top left corner of the screen.
From the dropdown menu, select "Server Settings."
In the Server Settings menu, click on the "Roles" tab.
At the top of the roles list, click on the "Add a Role" button.
In the "Add Role" menu, enter a name for the role in the "Role Name" field.
You can also set permissions for the role by clicking on the boxes next to the different options.
When you are finished, click on the "Save Changes" button to create the new role.
You can then assign the new role to individual users by right-clicking on their username and selecting the "Change Nickname" option. From the dropdown menu, select the name of the new role.
