How to Apply Jeep Wrangler Window Decal - How To
39I show you how to install a window decal sticker in a Jeep.
I ordered some window decals from amazon.com for my 1998 Jeep Wrangler TJ. The window decals are very similar to the ones that come on the newer Jeep Wrangler JKs. So to start I removed an old window sticker from the previous owner. I just used a razor blade to remove it. I then used some acetone, or rubbing alcohol, and Goo Gone to remove the residual glue residue. After making sure the spot was clean, I then carefully positioned the new decal in place. The rounded side of the sticker matched up with the rounded edge of the window. After placing it carefully, I then used an ID to flatten the decal and push the air bubbles out. Once fully secured in place, just remove the paper backing. As for the other decal that goes on the top middle of the window, I haven't installed that yet, as I have to most likely remove the rear view mirror or take off the top.
