🐽 #VOTipTuesday I had the good "fortune" to play 🐽Mathilda, a pink fuzzball, who 😉(spoiler alert) steals something from her beloved husband Leopold in the award-winning video game #LeosFortune

I also had the good fortune to audition with another actor which was a rarity when it comes to animation auditions and I'm sure that added to my performance and help me #givegreatvoice to the character.
🗣 All of our auditions are now self-directed, and to that end, one of my best "acting tips" is to "play" both parts.
Not only does it help with authenticity and timing, but it helps you to react to the words that the other character is saying and understand what's going on in the scene even more and what the other character is feeling.

And the beauty of #VO is that you can then simply erase the words that aren't yours. I've seen this improve so many of my students' performances and I hope it will help yours!
