How to Back & Restore PS4 Saves on USB Drive (East Tutorial)
Backing up your PS4:
Connect an external USB storage device to your PS4. The storage device must have enough free space to accommodate the backup.
Turn on your PS4 and sign in to your primary account.
From the main menu, go to "Settings."
In the Settings menu, scroll down and select "System."
Within the System settings, choose "Back Up and Restore."
Select "Back Up PS4."
At this point, your PS4 will begin backing up all the data, including games, saved data, settings, and capture gallery content, to the connected USB storage device. The process may take some time, depending on the amount of data being backed up. Ensure that your PS4 remains powered on and connected to the storage device until the backup process is complete.
Restoring your PS4:
Connect the USB storage device with the backup to your PS4.
Turn on your PS4 and sign in to your primary account.
From the main menu, go to "Settings."
In the Settings menu, scroll down and select "System."
Within the System settings, choose "Back Up and Restore."
Select "Restore PS4."
