Steps:
- To backup your phone, start by opening the settings app. If the settings app isn’t on your homescreen you can get to it via the app drawer.
- In settings, tap ‘about phone’ from the top.
- Now select ‘backup and restore’.
- You can now choose to backup to your local device, a computer, or the Xiaomi cloud.
- You’ll need to enter your passcode to continue.
- On the next page, select which categories you want to backup, and then tap the ‘backup’ button.
- Once the backup is done, tap ‘finish’.
- The backup is now saved to the location you chose.
- To restore from a saved backup, tap the restore tab from the backup page.
- If there is a backup available it will appear here and you can select it and start restoring.
