Learn How To Block Apps on iPhone (2023 Guide). In this tutorial, you will learn how to block apps on your iPhone using the built-in Screen Time feature. By following these steps, you can restrict access to specific apps and manage your app usage effectively:

Open the Settings app: Locate the Settings app on your iPhone's home screen. It has an icon that resembles gears.

Tap on "Screen Time": In the Settings menu, scroll down and tap on "Screen Time." It should have an hourglass icon.

Set up Screen Time: If you haven't already set up Screen Time on your device, you will need to do so by tapping "Turn On Screen Time" and following the on-screen instructions. If you have already set it up, proceed to the next step.

Tap on "App Limits": Within the Screen Time settings, tap on "App Limits." It allows you to set time limits for app usage.

Tap on "Add Limit": In the App Limits menu, tap on "Add Limit" to create a new app restriction.

Choose apps to block: On the "App Limit" screen, you will see a list of categories and apps installed on your device. Select the specific app or category that you want to block by tapping on it. You can also search for specific apps using the search bar at the top.

Set time limit: After selecting the app or category, you can set the time limit for its usage. To completely block the app, set the time limit to zero minutes.

Customize days and hours (optional): If you want to restrict app usage only during specific days or hours, you can customize the schedule by tapping on "Customize Days" or "Customize Hours" and selecting the desired options.

Tap "Add" or "Done": Once you have set the app restriction, tap on "Add" or "Done" to save the changes.

In this way, you can block the selected app(s) on your iPhone using the Screen Time feature. During the restricted time, the blocked app(s) will be inaccessible, and a Screen Time passcode will be required to bypass the restriction. You can set up a passcode if you haven't already done so by going back to the main Screen Time settings and selecting "Use Screen Time Passcode."

Please note that blocking apps using Screen Time requires iOS 12 or later versions.
