In this episode I will be getting into the first 2 engine mounts that you would do. This is where I start getting into the fun fabrication work you will be getting up to. I hope there is enough detail in these videos to help you build your own 1000cc quad.

This is my series on how to build a 1000cc raptor at home with minimal materials and equipment. It is going to be a episodically based series as if I did it in one video it would be very long.
This build it from a 2005 Yamaha Raptor 660R frame. For the new engine I am using 1998 YZF Thunderace 1000R.
I will be going into as much detail as I possibly can. This build is going to be a build where I can still ride it in all the normal places you would ride a raptor. This means I will not be extending the swing arm or doing any modifications that is going to ruin the handling or the ground clearance on this bike. I hope this is of some help to anyone who wants to build a quad like this because believe me it is worth it at the end!
