Im reposting good informational videos I did when i barely had subs, still not that many but at least a few know who I am. This was when I just started almost 2 years ago. Not long in EVs but a lifetime in electronics, Im an electronic technician with an engineering degree so PEVs come easy to me. Just got my kweld and was making a pack to run it. I needed more power but heres the concept in nutshell. Now even tho I made that 3s6p pack to deliver max current flow it wasnt large enough even then to fully power that kweld. kweld with max pwr uses up to 2000amp pulse so 6p molicel pack wasnt large enough. I had plans to use that in parallel with a super capcitor set up but the caps I had were garbage so I ended up making another 3s6p molicel pack for a total of 3s12p while using a 20 farad carstereo stiffening capacitor and that was enough. I had just started using Kweld so didnt know how much power that thing actually needed. Im a Pro Pro now for sure. Everything is a learning process and we all gotta start somewhere.
