This tutorial will show you how to build you very own racetrack with arts and crafts-like items that you can buy at your local retail store; in this instance, I will teach you how to build Velopark, a racetrack in Brazil that will be used in the upcoming NASCAR World Tour in 2024 that I will be making. Follow my guidelines and tips within the video and you'll be good to go in making your very own road course for you stop motion racing videos. A tutorial video on how to make an oval racetrack is coming.
In case you can't understand me in the video, here is the list of things you will need to make your tracks:
- a printed layout of the track you are building;
- lined paper or print paper;
- Green Bristol board(s);
- clear and green masking tape
- a pencil or pen (preferably the former);
- scissors;
- black tape.
