How To Can Of Into Warhammer 40,000 4th Edition - Part 2 [Tabletop Thursday]
[EDIT: Ok, so it turns out that this whole session was not as by the book as it could have been. Oh well, we'll try to be more accurate next time. But in any case, you should stlll get more than a chuckle out of this and pick up a thing or two.]
This may come as a shock to you, our dear viewers, but Stephan has actually never played a game of Warhammer 40k in his life. So in order to remedy this situation, Steve has taken up the unenviable task to educate his co-host on the basics of this tabletop classic.
In this video we will cover the first half of Scenario 3 from the book Battle of Macragge wherein a squad of Ultramarines has to fight off a bunch of Tyranids using the 4th Edition rules (with a few added house rules) and also serve as a tutorial to follow along for the uninitiated.
From Wikipedia:
Warhammer 40,000 (informally known as Warhammer 40K, WH40K or simply 40K) is a tabletop miniature wargame produced by Games Workshop, set in a dystopian science fantasy universe. Warhammer 40,000 was created by Rick Priestley in 1987 as the futuristic companion to Warhammer Fantasy Battle, sharing many game mechanics. Expansions for Warhammer 40,000 are released periodically which give rules for urban, planetary siege and large-scale combat.
