Hulu is a diverse streaming platform offering a wide variety of add-ons that essentially make it possible to build your own streaming skinny TV bundle. Hulu add-ons include Cinemax, Starz, HBO and Showtime. If you give any of the add-ons a try and reach the conclusion they just don't fit your budget or that you don't like the content, cancelling your Hulu add-ons is a relatively simple process. However, it should be noted that you can only cancel add-ons on the Hulu website.
Now let's walk through the steps to cancel an add-on on Hulu.
Step 1. Open a web browser and go to Hulu.com. Log into your Hulu account if prompted. You'll land on your Hulu home screen.
Step 2. Click the name associated with your Hulu account in the upper right corner of the screen to open a drop-down menu, and then click "Account" in the drop-down menu. The Manage Your Account screen is displayed.
Step 3. Click "Manage Add Ons" in the Your Subscription section. The Add-ons screen will be shown, displaying all of the add-ons available for your Hulu account.
Step 4. Click the black circle with the check mark in it next to the Hulu add-on you want to remove. In this example, I'll remove the Cinemax add-on from my Hulu account. The circle will become shaded white and feature a plus sign.
Step 5. Click "Review Changes" toward the bottom of this screen. The Subscription Changes screen appears, summarizing the changes to your account and any adjustments to your Hulu bill. Click "Submit" after reviewing the changes. The You're All Set screen will be displayed, indicating that your changes have successfully been made. Click "Start Watching Hulu" to go back to your Hulu home screen.
