I'll admit that although I've been very pleased with the performance of my Xbox Series S, it did disappoint me that the on-board video recording and editing is way behind what is available on Playstation.
However with a little digging on Youtube, I discovered that if you format an External Hard Drive, preferably an SSD, in the NTFS format, your Xbox will then record up to an hour of 1080p 60fps gameplay, which is much better.
You can't do anything with that video on the Xbox, you've got to unplug your drive and plug it into your PC or Laptop to edit it or upload it, but it's still worth doing if you're a content creator.
Thanks, Rob.
