Genshin Impact is an action role-playing game developed and published by miHoYo. The game features an open-world environment and action-based battle system using elemental magic and character-switching and uses gacha game monetization for players to obtain new characters, weapons, and other resources.
To change your Genshin Impact account’s username, follow the steps mentioned below:
Unfortunately, ever since the recent update, nobody can change their account’s username. If you go to your account settings then you’ll be able to change your email and password but not your username.
But you can request the support team of Genshin Impact to change your username. To do that, you’ll have to write an email.
Firstly, go to Gmail or any other emailing platform you use, and then click on ‘Compose’
Then, you’ll have to send an email to two different accounts, they are; Genshin_cm@mihoyo.com and Genshin_cs@mihoyo.com
In the subject field, type ‘Changing Username’ and on the body field, you’ll have to request to change the username and ask for help regarding that topic. You’ll also have to provide your account details like your email address assigned to the Genshin Impact account.
Once you fill in all that, click on ‘Send’, and the support team from Genshin Impact will contact you and help you in the further processes.
