Follow the steps below to change name on Gmail:
1. Navigate to https://gmail.com/ in your web browser and login to your Gmail account.
2. From your Inbox, select the gear in the top right, then select See all settings.
3. In the top menu select Accounts and Import.
4. Select edit info next to Send mail as.
5. Enter your desired name on Gmail into the empty text box and select Save Changes.
